Tyler really likes this book, and when I started reading it, it wasn't anything like how I thought it was going to be. I enjoyed the theory behind it all and it was interesting how the author took old folklore Gods and tied things to them, however the ending was very disappointing.

The premise of the book I thought the kids would enjoy, it's an interesting story, but the kids struggled reading and following along with it. I've read this book before, but when I saw a movie trailer for this book I decided to read it again. It's not as good as the first book, but it's still enjoyable. I even caught myself getting "emotional" along with the main character.
