Ragnar Sunset Experiment

Ragnar #4
Sunset Experiment October 6th
We signed up to be guinea pigs for a day to test out a new Ragnar Relay.
4 people. 6.55 mile loop only one time. It was rough but so much fun!!
We started at This Is The Place and ran on the trails up behind the Natural History Museum and Red Butte Gardens. Rough trail that was rocky and washed out.. couldn't even run down the down hills because of all the loose rocks.

This was the hardest part. There was no real way to run this part.. the logs were too high for me to even easy hike it.

 But that view!!

Can you see that speck of Orange in the middle of the green trees? That's the Ragnar arch.

Oh yeah, some of my boys ran it too.  I went first so that way they couldn't pass me on the trail. They thought it was so fun to share this event.

Bryan caught a rock and had a little tumble.

 Brendy was our mountain goat!

 That's Xander dancing.
 Ayden, Jorge, Xander, Nate.
 Dave was our anchor.
We lived off of the doughnuts.
But then went and got some real food.
 Done!
Bryan, Dave, Me, and Brendy.

I would totally do it again!

September 2018

September 2018
A parent brought Ruby Snap cookies for the coaching staff at the pre-region meet.
Best. Day. Ever.

Meet the Team night. Took Jaxson (who was more interested in playing mini soccer), Madi, and Elise.

So Elise REALLY wanted to get a photo with Abby Smith. But by the time we got there and found where she was at, they had already rotated her. It was THE END OF THE WORLD for this 4 year old. So when we went to get her autograph, I mentioned how we came from Ogden and how we missed her photo opp, and Abby jumped up and took a photo right there.

Jordan wants a perm.. so we foam curled it so he could see what it's like.. his hair was too short to see any difference.

September 12
City/County...

 JV girls race.
 Varsity girls race.
 Boys Varsity race.

Our boys WON!!!! We've haven't taken the championship in 30+ years.. always a bridesmaid but never a bride for sooo many years. And it couldn't have happened to a better group of boys!

Hiking!

Crazy puppy..

Aunt Marj came for a visit.

More cross country!!
 Torch Run!

Jordan's present came early via the theater departments fundraiser.. 50lbs of potatoes!

Movie night at my parents watching the new Jurassic Park movie. Some parts were scary but luckily Elise had Uncle Derek.

More cross country!! Park city invite!! We pulled out most of the varsity kids to be ready for region or else Jared would have buddies with him.

  Fall is looking good!
