Presidents Day!

Ragnar has been kinda depressed lately.. she went from a very active lifestyle (Derek taking her out + my running daily) to just getting a walk at night when I can take her (Derek going to school + nasty air that gives her asthma limits activity).
So..
Clear skies. Day off. Time for adventure.

Spiral Jetty Lots of mud puddles...
she would keep her out of the window until she caught on that I wasn't going to go slow through the puddles.
Happy Puppy..

Chasing small animals..

 Look at that happy face!

This cow was not pleased with our shenanigans..

Another day when Derek had the day off we went up to Snow Basin area for some snow hiking..

And got a good laugh at Ragnar falling in the snow..

It's hard to have 4 legs sometimes...

Overall a great time was had and Ragnar no longer has doggie depression :)

January 2016

The Month of January...

Derek went hiking with his brother & made a video..

He also made videos of how/what he packed from his big trip last summer..
(there's two videos but the first one is posted.)

Crafts done:
It's a 3-part project, 2/3 done...
Paint Night with Kris
My shrubbery kinda looks like mint-chocolate-chip ice cream
Paint Night with Andrea

New Years Day Hike to Christmas Tree Hill & then some with Andrea & Freida.
Look at those whisker-iciles!

 This face happened a lot...

Ragnar cuteness..

Our cousins, the Richardson's, sent us some Mardi Gras fun!

I sent home some cake with Andrea for her and her hubs. I put the baby in his piece.. she told me later he was so excited.  Mission accomplished.
Ragnar won all the beads..

They're BFF's.. they understand each other...

I was required by my job to spend 6 hours doing service on MLK Day..
everyone else got a 4 day weekend...
I checked the airplanes at Hill Aerospace Museum for Decpiticons.
None Found.
You're welcome Ogden.
But for reals.. I helped organize their hot mess..
it was a big HOT MESS.

Girls night to see Mummies of the World at the Leo.
They don't let you take photos of the mummies, but we did participate in their collaborative art works.

While waiting for our table at dinner, we found this awesome used book store.
We're going to have to go back when we have more time to check it out.

My folks watched Ragnar for me while I was at an indoor track meet all weekend.  When I got back to their house the first night to pick Ragnar up, The Clegg kids were also there spending the night.  They helped me eat my (second) dinner by acting like puppies waiting for treats.  Ellie was more in upward dog pose but her barking was so cute.  Ragnar wasn't sure about this and watched her intently.. it was the best.
