The best part was the lounge chairs (so comfy) and reading while listening the the waves crash.
The local meeting house we visited on both Sundays.
Sunday Feb. 12 A Japaneses cemetery I thought looked pretty neat.

Wednesday Feb. 15 The closest I got to the Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Farms.
They were all over!
The Mark Twain Monkey Pod Tree in Waiohinu.
Thursday Feb. 16 Temple day!
Later that day, after the subway hold up ordeal, we went up to the Mauna Kea Observatory.
We were still in our swim-ware so it was kinda cold, but we did have our temple clothes so that's a win.
I bought us all hot coco since they did give me a ride.
That's the summit where the observatory actually it. Another thing to add to the list of things to do next time!

Oh and we did this "hike" in flip flops..
Friday Feb. 17 National Park Service Day!
They were such an amazing group of people, and pretty shocked that I was spending a day during my first ever visit to this state doing service. A nice lady even drove to the visitors center to meet up with everyone.
Derek would have loved this tree..
It reminded me of the Big Bird movies.
