Peppered Carcinogens: an Arizona Christmas

Humble Juniper Tree captures the Christmas Spirit along I-17, milepost 254.
Did some research on it and no one knows who decorates it.
(not my photo, wasn't really safe to pull over on a busy highway ya know)

Christmas Eve spent at Montezuma National Monument

 Castle Site "A" a 5-story cliff house
Rachael being the coolest person at the park

*In some of the "storage holes" in the cliff face, bee hives have now claimed the spaces.  You could see the honey on the combs.

The reading of The Nativity resulted in Derek becoming a ninja wise man

Boxing Day was perfect for a mini Temple blitz!
Phoenix: Baptisms

Gilbert: Initatories

Mesa: Endowment Session

* Yes, you can pick the fruit from the trees on the Temple grounds
*There seemed to be a castle like theme to all of these temples. I loved it!

Minecraft was played.

A Gingerbread "festival" was visited.

A trip to Tuzigoot National Monuement occurred.

Dennis is indeed in this shot, his new Indiana Jones hat has camouflaged him.
I found very funny.
Derek survived the end of the trail.

Sedona's Chapel of the Holy Cross was visited.

*We're hiking here next year. It WILL happen.
*Sedona is "known" for their vortex situation.  The Chapel was built ontop of one too.  There were lots of psychic stores passed on the way to the chapel.  Next year, it'd be interesting to check out one of the "vortex stores" & try to hunt some down while we do some hiking (basically twisted trees). Why? Because it'll be very entertaining!
*Also Sedona is the only place where the McD's has GREEN arches.  Just fyi.

Delicious food was eaten.
Movies watched.
Mallows roasted.
Memories made.
:)

Bonus: found a Chile Ristra for my mom!
