The month of April 2018
Saturday April 14
Royals Home Opener!
Her eyes were closed for every photo.
Lisa and I.
James and Madi's seats are right next to ours.
It was a fantastic day! Rachel Platten was flown in to sing the national anthem and then do a concert afterwards. She messed up 3x and then just moved past it. She apologized.
The Royals lost. But overall it felt like a win for women's professional sports in general.
So the forecast so chilly and cloudy.. it turned out to be toasty and sunny..
Tuesday April 24
So JeNae, James, and my parents went to Europe for a week. Part of my helping out was picking Elise up from Little Lakers and taking her to practice with me. Madi, Coach Bunot's little girl, is super friendly and has been trying to get Elise to play with her all season. Well, today was the day Elise finally got over her stranger danger and those two had such a fun time running around playing. When they weren't helping put sunscreen on everyone.
Saturday April 28
Since the other adults were still in Europe, I got to take Madi and Elise to the Royals game with Lisa and I.
We got McD's beforehand which Elise is still in love with her otter stuff animal.
Everyone around us loved them! They thought they were so cute and Elise would laugh at anything. She espicallyed loved the guy who said to the other team "you're not very good". If you've been to ReAL games, it's when the GK from the other team has a goal kick... I'm sure you can put it together.
They did some fake sleeping.
Elise would cheer "Go home red team!" The game ended in a draw but the girls were still pretty excited and wanted to hang around afterwards to get autographs.
Me: Elise, tell her what you're favorite part of the game was.
Elise: only girls playing soccer.
Becca Moros was pretty awesome interacting with the girls.
Jordan ran the 800m in Jr. High track. He did well and got his time down but not fast enough to get into any of the seeded heats or make it to district.
I'll leave you with this.
