Flew out to Tennessee!!!

 Flying over Chicago.. our pilot took a detour to fly next to the cubs game.

Friday September 8.

Went to the store to get all the food we were going to need for the weekend, this store was making grilled cheese sandwiches and giving out samples, they were so tasty! Heather was saying how she needed to get more steps in for the day so I started marching in place & she acted like she didn't know me, so I of course said loud enough for all to hear that I was with her. It was a funny moment that everyone was laughing over and I wanted to document.

 After a lunch of lemon chicken and Alfredo pasta, and when the girls got home from school, Shaun, Logan and I went out to see Shaun's house and Shaun's office.

 Then Logan took us to Knoxville College that's abandoned.

 The Sunsphere, you're able to ride an elevator to the top.  You can see all of Knoxville from up there, but it's not as impressive. They had advertisements for a stair climb on the 11th as a memorial, and I was super tempted to stay an extra day just to do it.

We finished off the night with some grillin' & chillin' where I met their neighbors Geri & Ralph.  They are older and hiking enthusiasts who have this thick brown book "if it's not in the book then we haven't hiked it".  They were helping us plan out our post-race hike.
